Mettler Center offers several assessments that will help drive you to accomplish your goals. Each assessment is designed to give you the most accurate results so you and your trainer can develop an appropriate action plan for your training.
Body Composition Testing
Determine if your weight is healthy for your height. Using the skinfold test, measurements taken at multiple points on the body will determine your body fat percentage—an important indicator of your health and wellness.
This test will pinpoint areas where the body is restricted in a normal range of motion. It will also target weak areas to make stronger and tight areas to make more flexible. Recommendations may be made for flexibility training or rehab fitness.
Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR)
This assessment will determine your RMR, the number of calories your body burns at rest. Depending on age, weight and gender, this test will identify how many calories you need to burn in a day and how long it will take you to achieve your goal weight.
VO₂ Max Testing
The VO₂ Max assessment will determine the volume of oxygen you can consume while exercising at your maximum capacity. Those that are fit have higher VO₂ Max values and can exercise more intensely.
