Ready for change? We've got your back.
Now that you've made the decision to make a change for better health, consider the powerful difference partnering with a coach can make in transforming that desire into action.
Unlike a personal trainer or registered dietitian, a Wellness Coach won’t tell you what to do (you’re the only expert on yourself), but your coach will work with you to prioritize what's most important to you, develop individual strategies for success, and help you to follow through!
A Wellness Coach can help you:
- Create or understand your definition of wellbeing
- Establish a vision, clear goals and next steps
- Identify your motivators, internal strengths and external resources
- Think through potential obstacles and how to overcome them
- Provide accountability and motivation
- Grow in confidence in your ability to establish new healthy habits
What topics does a Wellness Coach address?
A Wellness Coach facilitates the achievement of self-determined goals in the following areas:
- Weight Management
- Stress Management
- Pain Management
- Awareness & Mindfulness
- Lifestyle & Balance
- Time Management
- Sleep Improvement
- Grief Management
While degreed and highly-trained health care professionals, wellness coaches work only within their scope of expertise and will refer clients to other health professionals (e.g. registered dietitian, psychiatrist, psychologist) whenever appropriate or necessary.
