Using a video-based platform such as Zoom, Facetime, Skype, etc. for free consults and ongoing treatment.

More Information About Direct Access
- A referral is not needed.
In Illinois, legislation was passed in 2018 allowing patients to be evaluated and treated by a licensed physical therapist without a referral.
- We communicate for you.
Mettler Center physical therapy communicates with your medical provider to update them on your plan of care and to collaborate for the best care possible.
- Get a referral faster.
Many insurance companies still require a referral for payment. At Mettler Center, we have a system in place that satisfies the insurance requirement and minimizes unnecessary steps to get approval.
- Skip a referral and pay cash.
Cash paying patients do not need a referral nor do they have to worry about insurance approval.
How long will I need Physical Therapy?
The length of your physical therapy treatment is determined by a number of factors such as your diagnosis and what you are seeking help for.
Schedule a free one-on-one session to talk with a physical therapist to talk through your options.
Do you take workers' compensation?
