To provide a true whole-life fitness experience, Mettler acknowledges the tremendous impact of mind-body activities such as yoga and Pilates. Regardless of your experience, age, or fitness level, we offer many different opportunities for you to experience change and improve your overall quality of life.

Group fitness classes are included in membership, but you don't have to be a member to take a class. Guests may enroll in a classes through the use of group fitness packages.

Balleyo (45 minutes)
This class combines ballet fitness exercises with yoga to strengthen and stretch the hips, legs, and upper arms and core muscles. Muscles will be toned with light weights and body weight exercised including pliƩ and other basic ballet moves, and then deeply stretched with yoga poses. Emphasis will be on posture, balance, and flexibility. This class is an ideal addition to a strength and cardio regimen and will leave you feeling strong and flexible. Suitable for all levels. Modification will be demonstrated.

Barre (45 minutes)
Barre is a combination of Pilates, Ballet, and Yoga. You will use light equipment as you move throughout the class, focusing on different areas of the body. Your muscles will be worked to fatigue as you get stronger with each class. This class is suitable for all levels, beginngers to advanced! Precise. Proud. Balanced. Passionate. Enjoy this fun, energic class.

Chair Yoga (35 minutes)
This class will increase your flexibility, balance, and strength without you having to get up and down from the floor—or be upside down. Come enjoy the benefits of yoga: mental clarity, relaxation, and increased flexibility.

Core Fusion Yoga (50 minutes)
Core focused yoga poses are linked with the breath to build heat from within. Core–focused stretching and strengthening of deep abdominal muscles along with supportive muscle groups provide a comprehensive and challenging yoga practice. 

Core Yoga (50–60 minutes)
Challenge yourself with a blend of breath-coordinated yoga postures and Pilates-based exercises that focus on strengthening the body’s core region. Smooth transition between poses are emphasized. A great workout for improving poise, balance, strength, and flexibility.

Deep Release Yoga (50 minutes)
The body is warmed through movement and long holds in preparation for lengthening poses. Experience twists, binds, and balances to reach a higher level of body awareness. Options are given for all levels of yoga to challenge your body to deep release.

Energizing Flow (50 minutes)
A series of poses are intentionally integrated with the breath for a full sequence of mind-body benefits. Stretching, strength, and balance are core tenants of this energizing and rejuvenating class. All levels welcome!

Flex & Flow Yoga (50 minutes)
Sweat a little and challenge yourself in this strength-based yoga class that builds heat, muscle tone, and flexibility through repetitive flows and long holds, using breath-synchronized movement.

Flow Yoga (60 minutes)
Flow yoga is a traditional practice of yoga involving postures that are linked together in a flowing sequence. Sequences involve standing, prone, seated, and supine postures where movement and transition are coordinated with the breath. This yoga practice promotes flexibility, strength, and poise, yet is relaxing at the same time.

Gentle Energy Flow Yoga (60 minutes)
This class will primarily focus on slow movement mixed with the breath to cultivate mind/body awareness. We will practice ways to build energy through gentle yoga postures and breathing techniques that can be integrated into your daily life. Props will be offered for extra support. All levels welcome! Come and enjoy the wonderful benefits of yoga.

Gentle Yoga (60 minutes)
Calm your body and mind with traditional postures in a slow, relaxing format. Class emphasizes flexibility, poise, body alignment, and balance with modifications for a wide range of abilities. Yoga postures are presented with modifications and use of props to allow for a wide range of abilities and for the use of yoga in promoting recovery from injury. A class that is both restorative and challenging.

Hatha Yoga (60 minutes)
Encourages physical and spiritual growth through three of the eight “limbs” of Patanjali’s Ashtanga Yoga. The specific practice of asana (pose), pranayama (breath), and dhyana (meditation) is the core focus of this session, while building positive energy and enthusiasm. Practitioners of all levels are encouraged to attend.

Mindful Meditation (60 minutes)
This beginner-friendly course will introduce the concept of mindful meditation and cultivate tools for mindfulness including breathing sequences, visualization, body scan practices, and concentration techniques. Each class will include specific mindfulness meditation tips and techniques, a guided meditate session, and time for reflection. At the end of the session participants will be equipped to integrate mindfulness into their daily lives and maintain their own meditation practice. This is a fee-based class.

PiYo (50 minutes)
Try this new, low-impact, but high-intensity class! This class combines the muscle-sculpting, core-firming benefits of Pilates with the strength and flexibility of yoga. A faster pace and fluid transitions, you are sure to get your strength, sweat, and stretch on. This class is free to Members, $12 drop-in for Guests.

Power Yoga (45 minutes)
This class will work your mind, body, and spirit hard! Get ready to flow through powerful vinyasa yoga poses while incorporating light weights to tone the muscles even further. Class ends with a simple yet rejuvenating meditation. You will leave class feeling like you can conquer the world!

Restorative Yoga (60 minutes)
Restorative yoga encourages mental and spiritual growth through three of the eight “limbs” of Patanjali’s Ashtanga Yoga. The specific practice of asana (pose), pranayama (breath), and dhyana (meditation) is the core focus of this session; which includes linking body and mind to the breath while building positive energy and enthusiasm. Practitioners of all levels are encouraged to attend and indulge themselves in this enlightening class!

Restorative Yoga With Props (60 minutes)
Restorative yoga is a gentle class aimed at relaxing the body and calming the mind. Poses will be held longer, with the help of props, in order to create deeper openings within the body. Unwind, enjoy, and leave feeling rejuvenated.

Sun Flow Yoga (60 minutes)
Celebrate the rising sun with Sun Salutations and flowing yoga that focus on breathing and cleansing the mind and body. Elements of Tai-Chi, Thai Yoga Massage, and other modalities may be melded into the yoga practice. Dynamic postures and lengthening holds will leave you ready for your weekend. This class is suitable for beginner to intermediate yogis, but can be modified for everyone.

Sunrise Yoga (60 minutes)
Flow into your day with an hour of breath incorporated movements to help wake up the mind and body. A powerful flow will be offered as well as modification for those who wish to take the morning a bit slower. 

Sunset Yoga (50 minutes)
This class is dedicated to helping you unwind at the end of the day. The practice gently warms the body in order to encourage deep stretching and release. A major portion of the class will focus on loosening and relieving tight muscles. Class ends with an extended relaxation period.

Strength Yoga (45 minutes)
This class emphasizes improvements to strength, stamina, and endurance. Poses are sequenced to promote upper body, core, and leg strength. Postures enhance poise and balance, providing an all-around challenging workout.

Stretching & Body Alignment (30 minutes)
This class focuses on using yoga-type postures and stretching exercises to improve body alignment, poise, coordination, and flexibility. Movements will be coordinated with the breath, and relaxation will be emphasized. This class is especially beneficial for warming up or cooling down following exercise.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga (50 minutes)
Poses, or Asanas, flow together with the breath to generate a fluid practice. Often built around sun salutation, the sequence of postures in a Vinyasa Yoga class will develop poise, strength, and flexibility in the body and tranquility in the mind.

Wake Up Yoga (45 minutes)
Wake up and get ready for your day! The Vinyasa poses move fluidly from one pose to the next with some poses held longer to allow your body to gradually open to create flexibility and strength. This class is for all levels.

Yoga Fundamentals Seasonal
This workshop offers a brief background of yoga and its benefits for wellness. Participants will learn about different styles of yoga, what to look for when choosing a class, and how a typical class is structured. We will explore basic yoga breathing and poses with emphasis on safe movement and proper alignment. The goal of this 2-hour workshop is to allow the practitioner to feel more confident in joining an on-going yoga class. Beginners and those with little experience are welcome. Join us to find out how yoga can benefit you!

Periodically, additional workshops in other types of yoga are offered. Past offerings have included Kids Yoga, Yin Yoga, Relax and Renew™ Restorative Yoga, Laughter Yoga, and Yoga + Chocolate.

Pilates (30–50 minutes)
A popular mat-based, non-impact class for all fitness levels. Pilates teaches good posture and body awareness, as well as increasing core strength, flexibility, and agility. 

Pilates Fundamentals Workshop Seasonal
A workshop designed to provide you with a foundation for safe and effective Pilates. Through Fundamentals, you will learn exercise modifications, receive detailed and individual instruction, and discover the most effective ways to perform each exercise. Even the most advanced participants will be challenged.
