A general membership to Mettler includes the initial joining fee and a regular membership fee (paid monthly or annually). All new members are eligible for initial one-on-one member orientation sessions with a personal trainer who will create an exercise program for you and assist your throughout your membership. Members also receive unlimited (non fee-based) group fitness classes, one physical therapy and nutrition consultation, member discounts on massage, personal training, weight loss programs, and more!
Personal Training Membership
Our Personal Training Membership is designed for clients who want the accountability and motivation of personal training twice a week with the expense conveniently built into membership pricing. Reserve your favorite appointment time and get rid of the hassle of purchasing personal training packages! Members save time and money with appointments scheduled through the life of the membership.
Student and Young Adult Memberships
Students and young adults can join as members and receive all the benefits of a general member, but at discounted membership fees. Student members must be between the ages of 11 and 17 and be joining independently from a parent or guardian. One must be 18–23 years of age to join as a Young Adult.
Short-term memberships are available one time fee and extend 4-months from the start date. Short-term members receive all of the same great benefits as general members.
Summer memberships are available for a one time fee and extend 3-months from the start date. Summer memberships may be purchased from May 1–June 30. Summer members receive all of the same great benefits as general members.
A limited-use membership allows members all the benefits of a general membership at a reduced rate when members agree to use the facility between designated times. The limited-use membership gives a member access to the facility between 10:30am and 2:30pm, Monday to Friday. There are no restrictions on weekend hours at either location.

What is the cost of a membership?
We have a variety of membership options. Please call 217.356.6543 for information on a membership plan or program that will best suit to you. Bring in a form proving recent termination of membership from a prior fitness center or facility and we'll waive the joining fee.
Is group fitness for me?
We offer a wide variety of group fitness classes for all levels of participants throughout the day. Take a look at our group fitness schedule or call 217.356.6543 with any questions.
What does your membership include?
Our memberships include full use of the fitness center, orientation sessions, unlimited group fitness classes (excluding fee-based classes), a physical therapy consultation, an occupational consultation, a nutrition consultation, a fitness assessment, ongoing program development, and regular workout updates and more.
I don’t know how to exercise at all, will someone show me around?
Upon joining you will receive orientation sessions which will provide you with facility orientation, a fitness assessment, program development, and regular workout updates. And we are always available to help you! You will find at least one fitness tech on the floor at all times to assist you with whatever your need may be!
How often should I come to workout?
This is an individual question and it depends on your fitness goals. Your trainer will help you to establish your workout, frequency, and intensity just for you.
What types of educational classes do you offer?
We offer a wide variety of classes each month to enrich your current knowledge: nutritional classes, weight loss through strength training, information on whiplash, functional training classes, information on disease prevention and more! Check out our Mettler University schedule for more details.
How much are your educational classes?
Informational classes are free to our members and the general public. Certain classes and workshops are fee-based but members typically receive a discount.
