Membership comes with just a few house rules.

Physician approval
The Mettler Center recommends that you have the approval of a physician before beginning any workout program or regimen.

Appointment cancellation policy
We enforce a 24-hour cancellation policy. All cancellations must be received 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time in order to avoid being charged for the appointment. This applies to welcome appointments, program development and personal training sessions. Any appointment not cancelled within 24 hours will be forfeited.

Temporary Leave Status
Members may request to be placed on Temporary Leave Status (hold) according to the following restrictions:

  • Requests to be placed on hold must be made in writing on a form supplied by the Mettler Center, Inc. The request must be made by the 24th of the current month in order for the hold to begin by the following month.
  • Membership may be put on hold for a minimum of two months and must not exceed six months.
  • Memberships will automatically reactivate at the specified end of the hold, without notification to the member.
  • A member placed on first hold in a year will have no charge. A member placed on second hold in a year will be charged a $25 fee for the 1st and 2nd member ($10 for additional member if they are the only member placed on hold).
  • Requests for hold are subject to approval by the Mettler Center, Inc.
