Backstory: where it all began

Q: Why did you become a massage therapist?
A: I took my first anatomy and physiology class as a sophomore in high school, and after that, I was the person on my sports team that the other players came to massage out knots before or after a game. I knew I wanted to learn more about the body and massage was the path I chose. 

Q: What is your best health/fitness advice?
A: It's never too late to make a healthy choice!

Q: What is your favorite type of massage to give and to receive?
A: My favorite type of massage to give is the heated bamboo. It is also my favorite to receive. It is so relaxing and a great technique to knead out tension without having to apply a lot of pressure.

Current: the here and now

Q: What are you doing when you are not at Mettler?  
A: I spend a lot of time with my son, Dominic. I tried to do as many fun things outdoors as possible with him. 

Q: What is your favorite way to de-stress or treat yourself?
A: To get a massage. Getting a massage is my “me time” away from home, and the only time I get to nap.

Q: What is the most annoying question you get asked?
A: You really have five sisters?

Q: What is one thing you can't live without?
A: Snickers with almonds because they are the closest candy bar to a mars bar.

Q: What is your guilty pleasure?
A: Raunchy reality shows.

Q: What are you passionate about?
A: I am very passionate about letting my child make his own decisions. I see too many parents now telling their child not to do things because they are too little, too young, and I want to teach him those things don't matter. He can start achieving great things even a young age.

Q: What is your spirit animal?
A: The cheetah!

Q: Pizza or tacos?
A: Taco pizza! I can't pick one!

Q: What's something you've always wanted to try?
A: Skydiving

Q: What are some of your wellness or fitness goals?
A: Some of my wellness and fitness goals would be to gain back my strength on my right side. I have had a lot of trauma to that side from car accidents and labor.

Q: Where would you like to take your next vacation?
A: My next vacation I would like to go to Greece, but in reality it will be Florida this December.
